Olivia the Cheerdiva

At one of our Van Buren football games, Olivia got to be a cheerleader for the night. Grades 1-5 were given the opportunity to do a cheer clinic with the varsity cheerleaders and then cheer at the game. Olivia had a blast and thought she was a little cheerdiva!

Ava plays soccer!

Ava is a Mighty Knight! This is her first time with a team sport and she is doing really well with it. At first, she spent most of her time chasing behind and observing everyone, including the audience! But she is so proud to be playing and gives it her all each time. She is doing better paying attention to the game and is learning what it is all about!And she is so darn cute out there!

Ava's First days of school

No.. Ava is not just starting school. Yes..I am just behind again! She actually started in the end of August and attends M, W, F mornings. She loves it!

Monday..August 23..Olivia's First Day of School

Olivia started 1st grade yesterday. Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday I was taking her for her first day of preschool. Every year I shed a few tears as I am reminded of her getting older and moving forward to the next phase. This year was no different especially since she will be gone full-time. But she was more than ready and was excited to be in class with a couple of her good friends and to have Mr. Beining as her teacher.

Olivia's first soccer game

So Olivia is playing her first season of soccer this fall and Curt is the assistant coach for her team. Saturday was her first game and of course....it was pouring down rain! But the girls enjoyed themselves anyway and played really well. Neither Curt nor I have ever played soccer so we are all kind've learning the game together!

Olivia lost her 1st tooth...on May 1st!

Celebrating Ava!

Sweet Ava..you are growing up so fast! You are such a sweet, caring little girl who has brought such love and joy to our family. You make us laugh everyday with the clever things you say and do. We are so lucky to have you & love you so much!

May 10, 2010...Happy Birthday Ava!!

Today Ava turned 4 years old. It's hard to believe that she is not a toddler anymore. She has been waiting for weeks for her big day to arrive..especially since Olivia's birthday. Ava still loves piggies..so that was the theme of the day. She was the big star and loved every minute of it.
